Tónlist Svavars Knúts verður helst lýst sem Norrænu Indie þjóðlagapopprokki, en tónleikar hans eru einstök blanda af söngvum, sögum, dökkum ólíkindatóla húmor og heimspeki. His newest album, Ahoy! Side A, was released last year and has seen much success, both with fans and with critics. Two songs from the album licked the peak of the Icelandic National radio charts. The album was also nominated in two categories in the Icelandic music awards. Svavar Knútur's music can be described as Nordic Indie Folk Pop, but his concerts are a unique blend of songs, stories, dark humor and philosophy. Not to be missed.
